Deborah Rhea Seehorn Bio

Deborah Rhea Seehorn (born May 12 1972) is an American actress from the United States. She is best known for her character of attorney Kim Wexler in AMC's Better Call Saul (2015-present), in which she has been two-time winner of the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress for Series, Miniseries or Television Film. She has also appeared on the NBC show Whitney (2011-2013) as well as ABC's I'm with Her (2003-2004) and TNT's Franklin & Bash (2011-2014). Deborah Rhea Seehorn was conceived in Norfolk, Virginia on May 12, 1972. Her mother was an executive secretary in the United States Navy, her father was an agent in Naval Investigative Service. The family was based in Washington, D.C., Arizona, Japan, and moved around a lot during her early years. Following the footsteps of her mother and father and mother, she was a student of painting, drawing and architecture at the age of a child. While she was a lover of all of the arts in her life, she developed a passion for acting. While in college she was exposed to modern theater. She earned her degree from George Mason University in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in Studio Art. Seehorn started her career in college as an actor and was inspired by her acting professor. She tried to gain attention by working at various ancillary jobs in D.C. theater. She managed to land several important roles in local theater productions. However, she still required odd jobs to make ends meet. To help her pay for the expenses she took on roles in short instructional films. Soon, she was able to land roles on television productions. She was often seen in roles that were "very humorous and funny" like her idol Bea Arthur. These roles were usually cancelled after a couple of seasons. Seehorn was selected to play Kim Wexler on the Breaking Bad prequel series Better Call Saul in May 2014. Seehorn portrays Kim Wexler, who is a lawyer , and also the love of Jimmy McGill/Saul (Bob Odenkirk).
