Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos (Canadian actress) is Tracy Spiridakos. She played Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules! from 2009 to 2010. Between 2009 and 2010, she appeared as Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) on the NBC series Revolution in the post-apocalyptic sci-fi show. The show was nominated for an Saturn Award as Best Actress on TV. Annika Johnson played her character on the A&E television show Bates Motel. Since the year 2017, Spiridakos is a regular on the NBC police drama Chicago P.D. As Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the main character. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents and restaurant proprietors George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. When she was born, her family moved to Skala, Greece, south of Sparta. They returned to Canada in 1992. She is very attached to her Greek roots and is fluent Greek. Spiridakos started acting in her junior high school. She continued her studies at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated Oak Park High School. Spiridakos moved to Winnipeg to pursue acting in 2007 to pursue acting. She was able to get her first TV role on Supernatural within a matter of weeks. The actress worked on television for a few more years getting parts in Psych, The L Word, Hellcats and Bionic Woman. Spiridakos was a part of the TV film Goblin and also in the web-based series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Spiridakos appeared on Being Human as the werewolf Brynn McCLean. In 2009 she was cast in her first starring role in the role of Becky Richards, a 15-year-old girl who appeared on Canadian Teletoon's Majority Rules! In 2011 she made her debut in feature films in the film Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She was also the director of Kill for Me, a low-budget horror film by Michael Greenspan. The film starred Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy, and was directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos played Sammi in Rags, an Nickelodeon original movie. She then landed a lead part on the NBC television show Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, the survivalist of an unimaginative future society. In her pilot season, she auditioned for this role. Spiridakos was the cameraman for the pilot in Atlanta and shot the pilot season in Wilmington, North Carolina. The actress was nominated for an Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her role during the pilot, losing out to Fringe's Anna Torv. The series' second season was shot in Austin, Texas.
